Alice Ball is the health channel editor at Live Science. With more than six years of experience working in health journalism, she's covered everything from why we should 'kill' the calorie, to destigmatizing the menopause.
Alice began her career in journalism at City, University of London, where she graduated with a first class honor's degree in journalism. During this time, she also studied nutrition, dietetics and public health at Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia. Alice went on to work at The Institute for Optimum Nutrition in the U.K, one of Europe's longest established nutritional therapy training providers, before joining Future Plc. She's worked across multiple brands, including Fit&Well, Coach, T3, TechRadar and Tom's Guide.
A Boston qualifying runner, Alice has completed six marathons. She enjoys documenting her progress on her Instagram account, @aligoesrunning, and testing products for Live Science's buying guides.
